Yet, we find ourselves deciding whether to choose healthy or happy. Sometimes healthy food might not make us happy and happy food would not make us healthy. V meals is a healthy meal prep company that is here to bridge the gap between healthy eating, conscious eating whilst also catering to your emotional needs and satisfying you on that side as well. I started this company in the year 2020 during the coid9 pandemic. At that time I saw an opportunity as I was always a fitness buff and I realized that people would be moving towards healthy eating and leading healthier lifestyles. The key take here is that a lot of people find it very difficult to understand how to eat healthy and what to eat and what not to eat. So, we offer a range of meal plans that are customizable to your preferences. We are offering eight different meal plans with flexibility in subscription period, commitment period, your caloric requirements, and your allergen and food preferences. We are a D2C brand that operate as a cloud model on a cloud kitchen model. We only deliver food to your doorstep. We have expanded our horizons and moving into technology since we have been experiencing year-on-year growth for the last four years. We would like to expand the business through mode of franchising and also expanding into international markets. So sharks, we would use this investment to eventually go international and take our tech to the next level. So who’s ready to invest? I want to know what makes you guys different from the rest of the meal prep brands that’s out there. We focus on customers. Most of the meal plan companies they’re offering a set number of options. We do the same but more than that we go a step forward and we also cook meals as per the customers or the clients requirements and we’re doing this by the help of technology. What have been your sales and your profitability? Uh we’ve been in the industry for the last 4 years. In June 2020 our revenue was 550,000 dirhams. In year 2021 our revenue was 2.4 million dirhams. In year 2022 our re revenue was 3.1 million dirhams. In year 2023, our revenue was 4 million dhams, forecasting 5.5 million this year. Great. Tell me about you and your company and your team. I’m raised in in Dubai. I’ve lived all of my life here. I’ve been in this business for the last 4 years. Before this, I owned a tech company. I started that when I was 20 years old. We were doing technology for restaurants, but eventually it had to go down because of the coid9 pandemic because all of the restaurants shut down. Before that, I spent 2 years in uh in aviation as well. I mean, I started working from a very young age because I dropped out of school when I was 14 years old. So, tell me how many meals you serve on average daily? Do close to 800 to 900 meals per day. How does that rank you in the market today? In terms of visibility, we would rank ourselves in the top 10. Okay. And what would it take for you to go up 1,500 subscriptions per day? I’m impressed with the growth in a relatively competitive market. Achieving 30% growth is quite remarkable. So, well done on that. Thank you. What is the your gross profit and your net profit on that? The gross profit is 65%. And our net profit for the last 18 months has been minus 1%. Due to the competition and we’ve been trying to actually learn on how to market the product better and I think we’re getting there. Arj firstly let me compliment you because I tasted everything and it is far superior than anything I’ve tried in the market. My question is how much are your meal plans? Can you explain to me the breakdown of like a weekly, monthly, what what kind of subscriptions do you have? How much are they usually? And then where are you doing your marketing? Our average meal plan uh ticket price is somewhere around 2,500 durhams. That’s not bad. 30 days or 20 days? 20 days? 20 days. But it can it can go as low as 1,200 dhams if you only go for two meals. For 2500 dhams, you get 20 deliveries. You get breakfast, lunch, dinner, one snack, and one drink. What you guys see on the table, something similar. We have 1 week plan, 4E plan, 8week plan, and 12E plan. As the commitment period grows, there is a substantial discount on the final price as well. It truly depends on what you’re looking for. So, who’s financing Vmails right now? No one. It’s completely bootstrapped. And why 22 million valuation? There is zero profit company. The valuation is based on the revenue 4x of the revenue multiplier. Where do you get this from? This considering that we’re moving into tech, this is a I believe this is a fair valuation for the company. I’m not convinced to be honest with you. There’s too many players. For me, my issue is that I think you’re a great brick and mortar business. I’m not seeing how that’s going to translate into a tech business for now.
