[Applause] [Music] [Music] Hello sharks. My name is Deborah Henning and I’m here today to present to you my online e-learning platform. It’s called concept to consistent profit and I’m asking for 920,000 dirhams 10% equity in the company. 20 years ago I set up a fashion brand and I put my heart and soul into it. But very quickly I realized that I knew lots about create being creative and not so much about the business aspect of it. So what I did I learned from a very prominent businessman in the UK and I spent one year going back and forth from Dubai to London and learning from him. Once I’d understood the business strategy behind what I needed to do, I relaunched my fashion brand in Dubai and had some amazing success and worked with some amazing names. Off the success of that, people were asking me to help them with their brands, help them build their businesses. And so that’s what I did. By mistake, I started a design consultancy. Then I realized that there’s so many people that want to start businesses, but they don’t know how. So I am on a mission to share with the world my unique combination methodology of what I have built for business entrepreneurs. I don’t just look at business strategy. I look at the root cause of what happens with businesses. I look at the root cause of what entrepreneurs do themselves to sabotage their business. I look at money mindset. I give them a strategic roadmap for how to build a successful brand. And then I put in industry experts to help them build their success. I built it all in one platform. It’s the current first signature program is called the launch program and it’s already built and it’s in the platform working now. So I’ve launched the launch program, my signature program. This is for zero to one, six pillars of a profitable brand. It’s a 10-week program. I’ve also doing current onetoone brand strategy with uh companies that are making multiple six figures over the weekend. So I’m working with big brands and really small ones. The market is absolutely huge. the e-learning market. Um, it’s already at 2021 was valued at 7.8 billion and it’s looking to grow to 2230 to a hundred billion industry. These are my numbers. I made 212,000 dirhams and 11% net in 2023. In 2024, I’ve already surpassed that 232,000 with a net 72%. With investment and growth and building out the suite, I can projected to take 3.5 million with a 78% net profit. Thank you very much. Congratulations. Deborah, can you tell us a little bit about your team? Who do you have on on board, you know, to make this for this business? Just me at the moment. I have freelancers that help me with social media and ad hoc tech teams that I need, but at the moment, it’s just me. And how many active users do you have? Um, for the launch program, which is already active and in play, I have 38 clients pay on that course. The course is charge priced around uh 5,500 dirhams with an upsell to a VIP package for 7,000 dirhams. All right. Hi. Um I’m a little confused to be honest about what the business model is. So is it a master class? Okay. This is a 10-week program and the way that I’ve built it out is it’s a hybrid. So everything’s pre-recorded and then on a Friday they get access live to ask questions. So to try and get the conversion rate high up for peak for success basically. So what I’ve realized there’s a lot of online courses but none of them have that interaction. The other thing that this launch course has and I’ve been testing different things is they have um a community of people. So they get access to a WhatsApp group where they continually get support throughout the course. So Deborah are most of your um workshops or your videos etc customized or they’re generic. The release will be ex it’s exactly the same. Takes me 1 hour a week. Okay. So it’s it’s pretty generic. It’s yeah it’s not customized. It’s not face like you’re live with me on a No, only if they upgrade to a VIP package, they can get time with me. Um, which I think 60 or 70% of the people did. Um, and they get they can add on how many sessions they need with me cuz and usually they need a bit of additional. I had a question. You know, you showed us a list of corporate clients. Uh, generally what’s the split between, you know, the fees you generate from corporate clients versus somebody who’s like, look, I want to come and I want to start up a new business. let me take this course to get some insight. So the corporate clients was my last business. It was a design consultancy. It was just to show you the this breadth of what I built on my own. Um cuz again I had a small team with that business and I was able to get those build it to a really very profitable business in a very short amount of time. Um in terms of the companies that get come to me onetoone um I have like three or four at a max at a time so I can give them enough time. So you’re still doing that and that’s all part of this? It is part of this. Yeah, it’s part of this program. It’s onetoone business strategy for particular brands. So, what’s the revenue mix? The revenue that you mentioned over here. Oh, yeah. Is it purely B2C or it’s B2B as well? It’s B2. It’s both. It’s both. So, what’s the split between the two this year? That’s a good question. Um, I’m not sure. That’s a good question. I can find out for you though. But then when you’re going for like a projection of 3.5 million next year, Yeah. Uh, the lion’s share uh is going to be more B2C individual people or more B2B? Yeah. I want it to be the programs, the online programs. So, I’m only doing the direct to uh businesses now because I I’m supporting building the launch program. Sure. Um but I’ve I’ve seen this model in in work and I wouldn’t be doing it if I didn’t understand what I was doing and I really understand all I need to do is get more eyes on it and I know that the trust funnel works. It’s just a case of building the team, getting more eyes on it and building the brand. That’s it. But Deborah, there’s something wrong there in in those numbers. It’s impossible to have net profit margin of 78%. I don’t know of any business in the world that has such a net profit margin. Okay. Do you have a salary in that company? Yeah, it’s low, but I do have it. Yeah. I mean, if you look at 620, 54% profit margin and some overheads and how much you get paid? I mean, yeah, not Yeah, I’m not paying myself a lot cuz I’m trying to have money for the business. Um, but I can tell you you have to adjust. You have to adjust that in your numbers. Of course. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. I mean, it’s the reason there’s a massive jump is because I want to add more into the product suite. So, um, first of all, like this number here, the 620, there’s only 40 people needs to sign up for the course and I didn’t have any digital marketing spend. I didn’t have any team doing it. It was just me. So, if I can double that in the end of this year, I’ll meet this. And it’s already built. So, the product’s there, the online is there, the affiliates are built in. I just 1 hour a week and I’m like, but how how is that? Walk us through the the maths because you said your average price per course is 5,000. VIP is 7,000. Yeah. So, if you said you just need another 20 to to hit the 620,000 target, 40 for the rest of this year. I launch it twice a year. So, 40 and five is 200,000. Yeah. And but the with the VIP packages as well, the average I kind of split it between. But that’s also then the direct uh to the other brands as well. I’m including me working directly with brands onetoone. Uh two quick questions. First, what’s in it for the teachers? Um so far they’ve done it because because you know they like me but I can do revenue share or I can do but that’s not baked into your model right? Um at the moment no it depends who we approach and global benchmark would say how much would these guys typically get paid? Um I don’t know. I have to negotiate with them. I mean that’s my negotiation skills on the table because you’re going to start scaling number of program number of people teaching at cost I’m assuming is going to eat up a lot of that margin. Um look I it’s a I I think it’s amazing. I I believe in coaching and I think what you’re doing is amazing. I struggle to see how this can one I struggle to see how we can really help you. You’re making more margins than my business. I need to learn from you and you need to learn from me. And um and I think that you know this seems to be something that you have under control. Uh, and there’s very little I can help you with. So, for those reasons, I’m out. But good luck. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. So, Deborah, for me, I love you. I think the way you presented your energy, your knowledge, it’s all amazing. Um, the challenge I’m having is personally, I don’t see this as a company and a company that’s investable today. Based on where you are today and the valuation that you’re asking for based on future potential, I think it’s a bit too rich for my taste at the at the moment. And so, for those reasons, I’m out. Uh, but I’d love to support you in different ways of giving you business because we’d love to try some of your services. Thank you so much, Debbra. For me, I find it hard to believe the numbers. I I don’t know how next year you’re going to have run a business with 200, you know, with 20% cost. I want to support you, but I love to look at a year where you have this number and then give you an evaluation based on that. It’s hard for me to look at next year’s number and believe it’s going to happen and therefore give you a proper valuation. Mhm. I’m struggling. I decline. Thank you very much. Thank you so much, Deborah. Um, I would like to uh work with you with with my investig companies. As a matter of fact, I’ll I’ll I’ll gift them all a VIP package. Uh, but I I don’t see it as an investable business. As a business per se, I’m out at the stage. Thank you. Um, I I like the concept, but the only the only challenge is like the other sharks, I’m finding that 78% out of the blue. So I can offer the 920,000 for 25% contingent on I really want to go through your numbers and I want to understand how you got derived at 78%. Absolutely. So due diligence would be very important 100%. Is that the final offer? It’s you know you see you you’ve done two 32,000 in the first 6 months. So yes in hindsight you got to do those numbers but I think you’re too far away. So it’s very early on I mean uh so because of those risks that are involved in the business that’s the best valuation that I can give. Okay. Thank you. I appreciate that. [Music] Um yeah I’m happy to share my numbers and we’ll then I then we can move forward. So is that a deal? Yeah it’s a deal. All right. Perfect. Thank you. Congratulations. Congratulations much. Absolute pleasure. I can’t wait to show you my numbers. Thank you to everybody. Thank you. I think the deal with Adel is going to be a game changer because I know what I’m doing. All I need to do is put it in place and have the backing behind me to make it happen. I can’t wait. And there’s a lot of competition for this. Yeah. Massive. She’s a one woman show. I mean, she’s going to get more people on board. Anyway, wish you all the best. Good luck.

.96 Hello sharks. My name is Deborah Henning
.359 and I’m here today to present to you my
.359 online e-learning platform. It’s called
.6 concept to consistent profit and I’m
.84 asking for 920,000 dirhams 10% equity in
.519 the company. 20 years ago I set up a
.399 fashion brand and I put my heart and
.96 soul into it. But very quickly I
.12 realized that I knew lots about create
.12 being creative and not so much about the
.36 business aspect of it.
.84 So what I did I learned from a very
.92 prominent businessman in the UK and I
.92 spent one year going back and forth from
.52 Dubai to London and learning from him.
.32 Once I’d understood the business
.84 strategy behind what I needed to do, I
.76 relaunched my fashion brand in Dubai and
.079 had some amazing success and worked with
.239 some amazing names. Off the success of
.4 that, people were asking me to help them
.88 with their brands, help them build their
.32 businesses. And so that’s what I did. By
.72 mistake, I started a design consultancy.
.159 Then I realized that there’s so many
.24 people that want to start businesses,
.68 but they don’t know how. So I am on a
.84 mission to share with the world my
.68 unique combination methodology of what I
.32 have built for business entrepreneurs. I
.119 don’t just look at business strategy. I
.88 look at the root cause of what happens
.64 with businesses. I look at the root
.24 cause of what entrepreneurs do
.32 themselves to sabotage their business. I
.32 look at money mindset. I give them a
.92 strategic roadmap for how to build a
.84 successful brand. And then I put in
.92 industry experts to help them build
.68 their success.
.759 I built it all in one platform. It’s the
.24 current first signature program is
.24 called the launch program and it’s
.72 already built and it’s in the platform
.159 working now.
.0 So I’ve launched the launch program, my
.759 signature program. This is for zero to
.439 one, six pillars of a profitable brand.
.759 It’s a 10-week program. I’ve also doing
.56 current onetoone brand strategy with uh
.04 companies that are making multiple six
.28 figures over the weekend. So I’m working
.8 with big brands and really small ones.
.04 The market is absolutely huge. the
.68 e-learning market. Um, it’s already at
.48 2021 was valued at 7.8 billion and it’s
.36 looking to grow to 2230 to a hundred
.599 billion industry. These are my numbers.
.08 I made 212,000 dirhams and 11% net in
.52 2023. In 2024, I’ve already surpassed
.959 that 232,000 with a net 72%. With
.8 investment and growth and building out
.2 the suite, I can projected to take 3.5
.56 million with a 78% net profit. Thank you
.44 very much.
.04 Congratulations. Deborah, can you tell
.879 us a little bit about your team? Who do
.12 you have on on board, you know, to make
.959 this
.28 for this business? Just me at the
.8 moment. I have freelancers that help me
.239 with social media and ad hoc tech teams
.319 that I need, but at the moment, it’s
.68 just me.
.239 And how many active users do you have?
.72 Um, for the launch program, which is
.72 already active and in play, I have 38
.959 clients pay on that course. The course
.2 is charge priced around uh 5,500 dirhams
.36 with an upsell to a VIP package for
.36 7,000 dirhams.
.319 All right. Hi.
.599 Um I’m a little confused to be honest
.519 about what the business model is. So is
.68 it a master class?
.12 Okay. This is a 10-week program and the
.36 way that I’ve built it out is it’s a
.8 hybrid. So everything’s pre-recorded and
.2 then on a Friday they get access live to
.44 ask questions. So to try and get the
.76 conversion rate high up for peak for
.12 success basically. So what I’ve realized
.599 there’s a lot of online courses but none
.44 of them have that interaction. The other
.04 thing that this launch course has and
.64 I’ve been testing different things is
.4 they have um a community of people. So
.239 they get access to a WhatsApp group
.68 where they continually get support
.2 throughout the course. So Deborah are
.519 most of your um workshops or your videos
.799 etc customized or they’re generic.
.2 The release will be ex it’s exactly the
.879 same. Takes me 1 hour a week.
.159 Okay. So it’s it’s pretty generic.
.159 It’s yeah
.799 it’s not customized. It’s not face like
.959 you’re live with me on a
.72 No, only if they upgrade to a VIP
.64 package, they can get time with me. Um,
.799 which I think 60 or 70% of the people
.439 did. Um, and they get they can add on
.84 how many sessions they need with me cuz
.28 and usually they need a bit of
.32 additional.
.6 I had a question. You know, you showed
.04 us a list of corporate clients. Uh,
.759 generally what’s the split between, you
.639 know, the fees you generate from
.32 corporate clients versus somebody who’s
.0 like, look, I want to come and I want to
.759 start up a new business. let me take
.96 this course to get some insight.
.479 So the corporate clients was my last
.16 business. It was a design consultancy.
.0 It was just to show you the this breadth
.84 of what I built on my own. Um cuz again
.32 I had a small team with that business
.6 and I was able to get those build it to
.479 a really very profitable business in a
.12 very short amount of time. Um in terms
.52 of the companies that get come to me
.36 onetoone um I have like three or four at
.479 a max at a time so I can give them
.24 enough time.
.28 So you’re still doing that and that’s
.88 all part of this? It is part of this.
.32 Yeah, it’s part of this program. It’s
.44 onetoone business strategy for
.96 particular brands.
.919 So, what’s the revenue mix? The revenue
.68 that you mentioned over here.
.88 Oh, yeah.
.36 Is it purely B2C or it’s B2B as well?
.32 It’s B2. It’s both.
.6 It’s both. So, what’s the split between
.96 the two this year?
.759 That’s a good question. Um, I’m not
.0 sure. That’s a good question. I can find
.28 out for you though.
.84 But then when you’re going for like a
.6 projection of 3.5 million next year,
.0 Yeah.
.4 Uh, the lion’s share
.639 uh is going to be more B2C individual
.88 people or more B2B?
.08 Yeah. I want it to be the programs, the
.759 online programs. So, I’m only doing the
.08 direct to uh businesses now because I
.36 I’m supporting building the launch
.199 program. Sure.
.08 Um but I’ve I’ve seen this model in in
.72 work and I wouldn’t be doing it if I
.24 didn’t understand what I was doing and I
.4 really understand all I need to do is
.24 get more eyes on it and I know that the
.32 trust funnel works. It’s just a case of
.56 building the team, getting more eyes on
.479 it and building the brand. That’s it.
.199 But Deborah, there’s something wrong
.639 there in in those numbers. It’s
.12 impossible to have net profit margin of
.12 78%. I don’t know of any business in the
.08 world that has such a net profit margin.
.96 Okay.
.36 Do you have a salary in that company?
.12 Yeah, it’s low, but I do have it. Yeah.
.6 I mean, if you look at 620, 54% profit
.96 margin and some overheads and how much
.6 you get paid? I mean,
.72 yeah, not Yeah, I’m not paying myself a
.479 lot cuz I’m trying to have money for the
.28 business. Um, but I can tell you
.28 you have to adjust. You have to adjust
.039 that in your numbers.
.08 Of course. Yeah. Yeah. Of course.
.28 I mean, it’s
.24 the reason there’s a massive jump is
.16 because I want to add more into the
.6 product suite. So, um, first of all,
.319 like this number here, the 620, there’s
.96 only 40 people needs to sign up for the
.639 course and I didn’t have any digital
.479 marketing spend. I didn’t have any team
.0 doing it. It was just me. So, if I can
.639 double that in the end of this year,
.16 I’ll meet this. And it’s already built.
.24 So, the product’s there, the online is
.84 there, the affiliates are built in. I
.919 just 1 hour a week and I’m like,
.52 but how how is that? Walk us through the
.759 the maths because you said your average
.36 price per course is 5,000. VIP is 7,000.
.319 Yeah.
.639 So, if you said you just need another 20
.599 to to hit the 620,000 target,
.36 40 for the rest of this year. I launch
.199 it twice a year.
.919 So, 40 and five is 200,000.
.24 Yeah. And but the with the VIP packages
.08 as well, the average I kind of split it
.0 between. But that’s also then the direct
.8 uh to the other brands as well. I’m
.24 including me working directly with
.84 brands onetoone.
.28 Uh two quick questions. First, what’s in
.44 it for the teachers?
.36 Um so far they’ve done it because
.039 because you know they like me but I can
.28 do revenue share or I can do
.199 but that’s not baked into your model
.479 right?
.96 Um at the moment no it depends who we
.759 approach
.24 and global benchmark would say how much
.479 would these guys typically get paid?
.479 Um I don’t know. I have to negotiate
.88 with them. I mean that’s my negotiation
.4 skills on the table
.199 because you’re going to start scaling
.319 number of program number of people
.919 teaching at cost I’m assuming is going
.319 to eat up a lot of that margin. Um look
.96 I it’s a I I think it’s amazing. I I
.08 believe in coaching and I think what
.52 you’re doing is amazing. I struggle to
.36 see how this can one I struggle to see
.36 how we can really help you. You’re
.8 making more margins than my business. I
.039 need to learn from you and you need to
.8 learn from me. And um and I think that
.0 you know this seems to be something that
.28 you have under control. Uh, and there’s
.039 very little I can help you with. So, for
.8 those reasons, I’m out. But good luck.
.319 Thank you so much. Appreciate it.
.759 So, Deborah, for me, I love you. I think
.0 the way you presented your energy, your
.4 knowledge, it’s all amazing. Um, the
.72 challenge I’m having is personally, I
.36 don’t see this as a company and a
.279 company that’s investable today. Based
.12 on where you are today and the valuation
.039 that you’re asking for based on future
.519 potential, I think it’s a bit too rich
.12 for my taste at the at the moment. And
.36 so, for those reasons, I’m out. Uh, but
.68 I’d love to support you in different
.959 ways of giving you business because we’d
.72 love to try some of your services.
.399 Thank you so much,
.6 Debbra. For me, I find it hard to
.839 believe the numbers. I I don’t know how
.24 next year you’re going to have run a
.839 business with 200, you know, with 20%
.36 cost. I want to support you, but I love
.0 to look at a year where you have this
.08 number and then give you an evaluation
.92 based on that. It’s hard for me to
.32 look at next year’s number and believe
.76 it’s going to happen and therefore give
.44 you a proper valuation. Mhm. I’m
.16 struggling.
.32 I decline. Thank you very much.
.68 Thank you so much,
.959 Deborah. Um, I would like to uh work
.519 with you with with my investig
.04 companies. As a matter of fact, I’ll
.72 I’ll I’ll gift them all a VIP package.
.68 Uh, but I I don’t see it as an
.04 investable business. As a business per
.64 se, I’m out at the stage.
.48 Thank you.
.0 Um, I I like the concept, but the only
.6 the only challenge is like the other
.2 sharks, I’m finding that 78%
.72 out of the blue. So I can offer the
.44 920,000
.519 for 25% contingent on I really want to
.2 go through your numbers and I want to
.2 understand how you got derived at 78%.
.24 Absolutely.
.8 So due diligence would be very important
.2 100%. Is that the final offer?
.92 It’s you know you see you you’ve done
.839 two 32,000 in the first 6 months. So yes
.44 in hindsight you got to do those numbers
.68 but I think you’re too far away. So it’s
.68 very early on I mean uh so because of
.16 those risks that are involved in the
.76 business that’s the best valuation that
.279 I can give.
.279 Okay. Thank you. I appreciate that.
.24 [Music]
.48 Um yeah I’m happy to share my numbers
.64 and we’ll then I then we can move
.64 forward.
.279 So is that a deal?
.079 Yeah it’s a deal.
.72 All right. Perfect. Thank you.
.72 Congratulations.
.6 Congratulations much.
.04 Absolute pleasure. I can’t wait to show
.64 you my numbers.
.959 Thank you to everybody. Thank you.
.959 I think the deal with Adel is going to
.399 be a game changer because I know what
.92 I’m doing. All I need to do is put it in
.16 place and have the backing behind me to
.079 make it happen. I can’t wait.
.68 And there’s a lot of competition for
.279 this.
.839 Yeah.
.399 Massive.
.959 She’s a one woman show. I mean, she’s
.399 going to get more people on board.
.92 Anyway, wish you all the best. Good
.16 luck.
